Idée Edalatishams is the Faculty ESL Specialist at George Mason’s Writing Center, where she trains and mentors consultants to work effectively with multilingual writers, offers consultations, coordinates and facilitates graduate feedback groups, develop workshops and instructional resources for multilingual writers, and conducts research on multilingual students’ academic communication.
Her research interests are in the areas of multilingual learners’ identity, international graduate students’ oral communication, spoken corpus linguistics, and pronunciation. She has previously taught Composition and ESL/EFL courses and worked as a Graduate Communication Consultant at the Writing and Media Center and the Center for Communication Excellence at Iowa State University.
