Our tutors are recruited from departments and disciplines across the university. Many are graduate students in English, while others are highly-qualified undergraduates from a variety of majors. Both graduate and undergraduate tutors receive intensive training in how to work with writers and diverse writing assignments. For our non-native speakers, we also have two ESL specialists on our staff, though all of our tutors are prepared to meet with ESL students.
