Moriah
Graduate Student and Tutor
Moriah graduated in 2004 with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
After graduation she moved to the Boston area where she worked for an electronic medical publication called UpToDate. She is now a poetry
MFA candidate in Mason's creative writing program.
Moriah's favorite food item is cheese. Her favorite color is orange. In general, she does not like to write about herself
in the third person. She has lived in sixteen different cities (in seven states) in the US. The word "papaya" forms a fun slant rhyme with
her name, prompting some of her friends to call her "Moriah Papaya". She finds this particularly amusing.
