Once upon a time Alo was a literature student, and got her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English from Delhi University (India). Then she became a journalist and also wrote scripts for documentary films. After coming to the US, she decided to try something she had wanted to, back in her Shakespeare days, but never had the time to. So now, she is a graduate student in Linguistics, and a tutor at the Writing Center. But she has not forgotten her old love, and can often be seen with a book of poetry. Noam Chomsky has not been able to vanquish the joined forces of Robert Frost, Thomas Hardy and Dorothy Parker, and of course, Shakespeare. And Alo is determined to live happily ever after with all of them!
