Arlington Evening Writing Group

Wednesday, October 19, 2016 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM EDT
Van Metre Hall (formerly Founders Hall), #329

The Evening Writing Group is designed for PhD and Masters students seeking group accountability and a quiet space to write. This event is modeled on the popular Friday writing group in Fairfax. Students should bring their coffee, laptop, and a set of writing goals. The group will begin in room 329 with a short conversation about goals, scatter around the library to write, and reconvene at 8:50 in room 329 for a short wrap-up on accomplishments. The remaining time is dedicated to writing. Helen McManus will coordinate the session.

Join us for any meeting that fits your schedule! Late arrivals are fine--you’ll miss check-in, but you are welcome to participate in the debrief at the end of the meeting.

Registration is week-by-week and is optional. Students who register will receive a reminder email before a meeting. Please go to the Library Workshops page and select the date you'd like.
