Summer PhD Writing Group

Monday, July 11, 2016 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM EDT
Arlington Campus Library 322 (Instruction Room)

Sponsored by the Arlington Library, the Summer PhD Writing Group is designed for PhD Students working on their dissertation, prospectus/proposal, or fields (Public Policy). Meetings provide group accountability and a quiet space to write. Students should bring their coffee, laptop, a set of goals, and a commitment to write. The group will begin with a short conversation about goals and end with a short wrap-up on accomplishments. The remaining time is dedicated to writing. Helen McManus will coordinate most sessions.

Join us for any meeting that fits your schedule! Late arrivals are fine--you’ll miss check-in, but you are welcome to participate in the debrief at the end of the meeting.

Registration is week-by-week and is optional. Students who register will receive a reminder email before a meeting.

This event will be held from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on the following Mondays: June 6, June 13, June 20, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1. There will be no meetings on June 27 and July 4. Students are welcome to attend some or all of the meetings, as their schedules permit.

Registration is required.
