ESL Services The University Writing Center is here to help George Mason students who speak and write English as a second or third language. We encourage you to visit us and learn about all of the ways we can assist you with your writing. Writing English as a second language can sometimes be difficult and frustrating; improving your skills is a wonderful and rewarding accomplishment.

All of our tutors are trained to work with ESL writers, and they understand the
kinds of writing problems you face. We also have specialists in ESL tutoring, provided
to the Writing Center by George Mason's English Language Institute (ELI) and George
Mason's English-Linguistics Department. You may request one of these specialists
when you make an appointment.
